Public Sector
The majority of Public Administration organisations (on a state, autonomous community and local scale) publish their internet portals in the official languages of the State: Spanish, Catalan, Valencian, Galician and Basque. Some also publish their websites in English, French and Portuguese. The AT-PTC facilitates this process and reduces the cost of being multilingual.
The Citizen Information, Healthcare, Publications, Education, Public Works, Justice and Environment Departments and, broadly speaking, the rest of Public Bodies address citizens in the different official languages of the State. A small percentage also publish content in other languages (English, French and Portuguese). This need continues to grow both in terms of languages and the content to be translated.
Daily document and news story changes render multilingual publication unsustainable, therefore hindering the synchronisation of multiple languages. Conventional translation is commonly subject to delays, rendering information obsolete due to late arrival.
AutomaticTrans makes immediate translation possible through the use of solid products integrated into the corporate translation platform (AT-PTC).
Within the platform, an integrated multilingual generation process is provided for editors and publishers. One of the features of this platform greatly facilitates the whole process: AT-PROXY. Texts only have to be published in one language, the AT-PROXY allows immediate translation to every language to be carried out.
In addition to translating citizen information web portals, public authorities require the translation of presentations and documents. The AT-PTC also makes translation services for this format type accessible from different devices. The aim is to facilitate remote or local use of common resources. This system orders the workflow and improves the efficiency of the process in terms of time and costs.
National Energy Commission
The National Energy Commission in compliance with Section 11/2007 (on citizen's electronic access to Public Services), determines that information should be displayed in official languages. The CNE also translates its corporate website and the news stories that are published daily.
MINISTRY OF EDUCATION
The Ministry of Education in compliance with Section 11/2007 (electronic access to Public Services) boasts a portal that is fully translated in the official languages. To achieve this, it uses the AT-PTC, facilitating the reuse of previous translations so as to make the process sustainable and generate high quality texts in every language.
EUGO, One-stop Centre of the Service Directive
The One-stop Centre of the Service Directive publishes content in the different official languages of the State and in English, although only the Spanish version is updated. Immediately subsequent to the publication in Spanish, texts edited in the various files are published in the different languages. They have saved time and money thanks to the AT-PTC.
